What is Lacrosse?
Lacrosse, simply put, is a stick game. The modern game has evolved from its Native American origins hundreds of years ago. Lacrosse is a very fast paced team sport that combines many of the best attributes of basketball, soccer, football, and hockey. It is currently the fastest growing sport in the United States, and possibly the world. According to the web site laxpower.com, high school men's lacrosse has nearly doubled to 3,484 (2013) participating teams in the past ten years.
