ABOUT OUR CLUB
Teaching Sandpoint's youth to play America's oldest sport
Since 2005, Sandpoint Lacrosse has taught over 1,600 Sandpoint-area youth to play and excel at America's oldest sport.
Lacrosse is the fastest-growing youth sport in America, and we've seen incredible growth here in our Sandpoint club. Over 100 boys and girls, ranging from 2nd - 12th grades, participate in our club's teams each year.
And that number is steadily growing. Once kids pick up a stick, they are hooked. They love the fast-moving game and the camaraderie they find with their teammates.
Our coaches, volunteers, and sponsors work tirelessly to ensure that any kid who wants to play can get out on the field. We have never turned a player away due to lack of means or ability. Learn about our scholarships here.
We offer two divisions:
THE BULLDOGS:
HIGH SCHOOL
Our high school club teams consist of high-school level players from Sandpoint High School, Forest Bird Charter School, and other schools in the area. They are highly competitive, and travel throughout the Inland Northwest to represent our community.
THE CUTTHROATS:
YOUTH DIVISION
Our multiple youth teams serve boys and girls in grades 3 - 8. Teams travel to at least two tournaments in the greater Northwest per year -- a fun experience that all the kids look forward to. All player levels are welcome, and beginners are encouraged to join. We offer a developmental program serving boys and girls in grades 1 - 2.

OUR MISSION
The Sandpoint Lacrosse Club is committed to inspiring our student athletes to achieve their fullest potential as competitors, as students, and as human beings, to the best of our, and their ability, while fostering an atmosphere that thrives on the passion and fun of playing the game of lacrosse.
We believe competition is an ideal avenue to learn the importance of respect for others as well as one's self, the value of effort, and of confidence. Competition in a group environment promotes inclusion, acceptance, team unity, and pride in commitment.
We believe in education. We will promote a high academic standard, and will encourage our student athletes to achieve excellence in the classroom as well as on the field.
We believe in relationships that are grounded in honesty, trust, empathy, and respect. We will develop student athletes of character and integrity, who will serve as positive members of our community and our greater society.
